Streets of Toronto

General lurking around the streets:

At night this building is lit up purple I'm going to wander around and take night shots one night this week probably Monday because its going to be a balmy 1degree.

Most lovely rink.

Canada Life - it looks sunny and beautiful but the wild is so cold it stings your face.

There is super amounts of good graf everywhere, I cbf photographing it all but you get the idea.
I walk past this guy every morning and evening, he is opposite the bum who still hasn't tried to rob me.

Another one of the zillion cute amazing cafes in the west end.

In the Fall.

Hockey Hall of Fame. Canadians seriously love hockey. I mean how nice is this building!

The Bay is like David Jones but WAY better because it has Topshop. But as everyone knows I don't shop here. I just wander around stealing samples.

Apart from No Frills, the gym and work this is probably my most frequented place in Toronto. It's like 1hours walk from home thank god otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit in my single bed anymore.

Like 20 different mustards amazing.

CHEESE! That I can't afford.

OMG Matt Gundry be jealous there is like more antipasto here than Melbourne!

Crayfish

Christmas cookies! Mum - if I don't get a gingerbread man for Christmas I'll be disappointed.

The most famous peameal bacon sandwich in Canada, though they look absolutely DISGUSTING I have yet to try one. I've promised numerous people I will have one before I leave, but seriously look at them:
Totes not worth the calories or the $6.

Doggie Bones...

Yeah there is literally everything here.
Including a busker singing "The Boys are Back in Town"
I was like WTF is that I hear; am I still in Canada?
Nahhhh mate your in NZ.
Seriously worst shop in the whole market they sell like made in china Maori necklaces, ew.

THE BEST SHOP IN THE WORLD.
I have eaten my way through this store, I'm kind of upset the ladies don't know my name.
The perogies, cabbage rolls, meatballs, stuffed chicken, stew, soup, lasagne, etc are all amazing, I'll be lost without this as my default Saturday Lunch.

It was actually pretty good, I'll give the guy that. But outlandish statements just ruin everything.

The best bakery ever. When I go there for the last time I'm going to ask them for their puff pastry recipe because it is fucking amazing. Every danish, croissant just melts in your mouth, I'll sell the recipe in Australia to the highest bidder because I'm going to be poorer than a white bum when I get home. Or alternatively I'll keep the recipe all to my self and sell the baked goods for an extremely inflated price.
There is one thing though that this market cannot ever give me, but luckily the Saturday Morning Farmers Market across the road does:
Looks like a bit of a hot mess doesn't it?? But I'm telling you this is THE BEST CINNAMON BUN IN THE WORLD you would definitely set your alarm and slit your wrists over these bad boys. There is more cinnamon, sugar and calories in this than all of America, but god damn it is worth it. Here is the story that went with the one I got last Saturday:
Sits down with the amazing bun, old lady asks if she can sit with me as she is waiting for her friend. "Sure I have no friends"
"Haha (awkwardly) I'm sure you do"
"No really I don't I'm just eating this amazing bun alone"
"Oh well at least you have one of those amazing cinnamon buns, aren't they just the best"
"In the whole world"
"Oh and for future reference, I wouldn't sit here again as the mexican who owns that horrible food van owns these chairs and once yelled at me for sitting here"
Yeah that was the highlight of my day.

The Eaton Centre! If I had money or remotely enjoyed shopping alone I would hangouts here a lot more, its got to be one of the best malls I've seen in North America. Actually the best, most malls in America are like 20years old and filled with horrible people. But the Eaton Centre in in the middle of downtown Toronto and filled with fashionable gay people. And amazing decorations.

Well you have now seen what I spend my Saturdays and Sundays doing when I'm not hungover.
Super excited as I'm going to a Christmas Market/Bazaar tomorrow!
